Would you mind ~ing? は「「～していただいて構いませんか？」と誰かに何かをしてもらうように丁寧にお願いするときに使う表現です。相手の依頼に応じる時は NO,~ と答え、相手の依頼に応じたくない時は Yes,~ と答えなくてはならないのでややこしいですね。
