皆さま、大変ご無沙汰しております！
久しぶりの今回は「麻痺」に関する英単語をお話しします。
私が勤めるICUは多くの脊髄損傷患者さんが入院されるんですが
そこでよく出てくるのが「麻痺」に関する英単語です。
実は・・・全然覚えられませんでした！
ということで、復習もかねてこちらのトピックを取り上げました。
麻痺のこと全般を指して「Paralysis」と言います。
Paraparesis：不全対麻痺
Paraplegia：対麻痺
Hemiparesis：片側不全麻痺
Hemiplegia：片側麻痺
Quadriparesis：四肢不全麻痺
Quadriplegia：四肢麻痺
