《后翼棄兵》可以說是一部女性主義的作品，它也可以不是一部完全在探討女性主義的作品。如果你無法跳脫性別的框架，你有可能無法與這部影集有更深的連結。

其實重點不是你的性別，重點不是你贏了多少棋，重點是你如何接受每個面向的自己，接受自己的天份，接受天份所附著的代價，即使代價可能是讓你變得自傲或是孤執，但你要先認識自己的代價，才有接受它，或是改變它的可能。
