She attended Graceland University and graduated with a BA in Mathematics. Carla and family live in Kansas City, MO, as she is now a Counselor to the Presiding Bishop for Community of Christ. Joelle Wight, a minister of Community of Christ, serves as the Invitation Minister and Co-Mission Center President in the Chesapeake Bay Mission Center. She was ordained to the office of Seventy in November 2019 and set apart as a President of Seventy in April 2023. Joelle received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Graceland University. She lives with her little dog in Washington, DC, USA
