The #1 way to control a community, is to control their money.
Record labels control artist’s money.
Therefore, they control the artists.
Labels view artists like pawns in their chess games.
They think artists are easily disposable and are a dime a dozen.
Exactly how slavemasters think about slaves.
Which is part of the reason this terminology stayed in record contracts for this long.
Systemic racism is everywhere.
Including in those record deals you want so bad.
