Being a special needs parent is hard, we are continuously in a state of "fight mode" and turning that off can be impossible. The keys to success have continuously been tied to good communication about our children. Often our children can't communicate all of their thoughts or needs, so we as parents NEED the people in our children's lives to be a voice for them.
