Tommy Thompson is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive coach, consultant, blogger, husband and dad, and avid golfer. He loves to teach, always bringing personal experience, deep reflection, and mixing in personal application. His first book, Space to Breathe Again: Hope for the Overloaded and Overwhelmed, shares specific tools to help people navigate the difficult path of finding balance in a world overrun with distraction and excess. After graduating from Davidson College in 1980, Tommy obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and promptly went into business with his brother. Over 30 years of partnership together, they owned and operated businesses in the manufacturing, retail, service, and real estate worlds. His experience crossed worked every function possible, including CEO, CFO, and sales. Tommy can be rather obsessive about golf (his record is 120 holes played in one day). He is passionate about listening to God, learning from anyone and everyone, and teaching wherever he can make a difference.
