5. Managing multiple disabilities on the go with Imogen Kars

When it comes to accessibility, there is no one size fits all. Especially when your diagnosis is not straightforward either. Today, we talk to travel journalist Imogen Kars who lives with multiple disabilities and chronic illness about what happens when your situation is complex and in flux. We explore what accessibility was like in the Outback as well as dig into the importance of listening to your body and asking for support when you need it.

This episode features Imogen Kars, hosted by Karni Liddell and Oliver Hunter. A special thanks to the Queensland tour operators that made this experience possible: Saltbush Retreat, Harry’s Hut, Australian Age of Dinosaurs, Waltzing Matilda Centre, The Royal Theatre Winton, Outback Pioneers, Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Outback Aussie Tours, Qantas Founders Museum.
