The Bible teaches money is the root of all evil not because of what it can do to enhance our lives, but how money can ruin it in whole or in part. God does not want us to covet money because it diminishes our faith in him, which has a direct effect on our ability to live in the Kingdom or God and to enjoy God’s blessings here on earth.
