How SER and ESTAR Change the Meaning of Bueno & Bien

In Spanish, the verbs ser and estar both mean “to be”, but they’re not interchangeable — and when combined with bueno or bien, they can totally change the meaning of your sentence.

In this episode, you'll learn:
✅ When to use ser bueno vs. estar bueno
💡 Why estar bien doesn’t always mean someone feels okay
⚠️ Subtle (and sometimes funny!) shifts in meaning when you use the wrong verb

We’ll also cover expressions you’ll hear in daily conversations, plus examples from real-life Spanish in Argentina.
Get ready to level up your fluency and avoid common misunderstandings! 🇦🇷

🎧 This is Part 2 in our mini-series about bien, bueno, and buen — and how adjective order and verb choice affect meaning in Spanish.

🧡 Hosted by Marina Boschi from Verbum Spanish School in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
