And let me tell you about the camaraderie. The other farm workers became like a second family. We all shared stories, laughed, and after a long day, we’d gather for meals. It was like a potluck from all over the world! Michael Oh gosh, I love that! So, it was like an international dinner party every night? What kind of food did you guys end up having? Emily Exactly! You’d be surprised at the variety of dishes. Someone from Italy might whip up pasta, while a buddy from Japan would roll sushi. But, imagine all that after a day of hard labor—you appreciate every bite. And spreading the tablecloth and sharing those meals felt like a celebration of our hard work!
