Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a left shoulder sprain during Sundays game against the Los Angeles Rams, forcing him to sit out the entire second half. Mayfield underwent an MRI on Monday to assess the damage. He initially injured his non-throwing shoulder in the second quarter and seemed to worsen it on a Hail Mary attempt before halftime. Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater took over for the Buccaneers in the second half. Mayfield completed nine of nineteen passes for forty-one yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions before his exit.
