This episode is about a very serious topic. Prayer is not a passive act, but rather it is a call to action. I discuss how Catholics should respond to tragedy and violence, especially in light of recent events. I emphasize both the power & importance of prayer, critiqued the responses that grossly dismiss the true meaning of prayer, and discussed how we must come together as a community. We have to address how so many of us have turned away from the Lord, as well as the ongoing mental health crisis in America. Please continue to pray for those affected by this horrible tragedy.
