Sanna Nordin Bates, a professor of sports psychology at GIH, helps me untangle the many terms connected to eating disorders and body image. We discuss whether certain personality traits common among dancers might contribute to the high rates of body dissatisfaction in the dance world and what we can do to support ourselves when challenges arise in our everyday dance lives.
