I discuss chronic spontaneous urticaria. Urticaria refers to hives. When it goes on for more than 6 weeks it's deemed chronic. Previously thought to be a type 1 inflammatory condition, it turns out it is a type 2 inflammatory condition like atopic dermatitis but with different manifestation but similar immune dysregulation and activating factors.
