Alayna Sonnesyn: Professional Nordic Skier, SMS T2 Elite Team
Alayna is a nordic skier for the SMS T2 Elite team and joins us on an afternoon off of summer training. Originally from Minnesota, she skied for the university of Vermont and earned her degree while doing so. We talk about her development as a nordic skier, traditional training for cross country athletes, role models in sport, balancing competition with school and other passions, staying healthy, rebounding from things we may perceive as falling short and much, much more.
