As a child I was told many times by adults to stay out of “grown folks business” when it came to every possible “grown” topic you could think of. 24 years later - after a few failed relationships, almost flunking out of college, finally moving into my own place, and starting my career - I wonder, am I grown yet?

How is it that our minds are only able to focus on all that’s wrong in our lives, even with the highest level of support and positivity from those around us? One of the things I’ve been trying to master in this part of my life is the control of what feeds my mind. Looking back at where my mindset was when this year started, I can definitely say that it’s SHIFTED.
