Everyone wants in when it comes to airport lounges

Airport lounges are becoming more popular becuase of the complimentary food, drinks, and the opportunity to relax.

There is a problem with this, many of other travelers want the same. What once was a pleassure only select fews could have, has become the destination of millions of travelers who have gained access due to large credit card spending and accumulated points that have given more and more people access to this “elite experience”.

For those who are top frequent flyers and credit card holders, having access to the lounges has become more of a pain than a pleassure, giving companies like Delta Airlines difficulties on how they approach the travel business experience of luxury for their top customers. The meassures from airlines have gone as far as stripping some credit cards with access to the special lounges given the high demand for these over the years.

Delta, United Airlines and American Airlines are racing to build more lounges and spaces and larger ones to fit high demand.

Because of the increased demand now credit card issuers want to make sure they do everything they can to keep their high spending customers happy by providing the best travel experience as one of the perks that come with spending thousands of dollars each year.

Some of the credit card issuers are creating other means by which some of their customers can have a similar experience without having all the special perks that some of the lounges provide.
