I wanted to start a podcast that will showcase what it truly takes and means to be a veteran these days. As many know every veteran goes through months of training to do their job in uniform. When its time to EAS they only get a few weeks at best to rejoin the civilian life. Unfortunately this is the time we lose some of our 22 a day. Our veterans and Servicemembers over time have put a stigma on reaching out for help in their time of need. So that's where I got the idea of starting a podcast.

In this episode, I sit down with author Carmelo Rodriguez of Dead Solider A Story of The Living. Carmelo served the Army from 2005 to 2010 as a 19D scout. He was attached to three different duty stations during his time with one deployment. Now he is an author who wrote his first book about the time the VA said he was deceased. After the VA wrongfully declared him deceased his life was a crazy roller coaster. Imaging going through life after a mistake that happen to you of that magnitude.
