Alaskas Busiest Intersection: A $40M Overhaul to Tudor Road Interchange - The Tudor Road interchange on the Seward Highway, Alaskas busiest spot with over 80,000 daily vehicles, is set for a major upgrade starting 2030. The project includes replacing the low bridge, rebuilding ramps, widening sidewalks, and improving pedestrian and bike separation. Funded by the Federal Highway Administration, the $40M project aims to reduce pedestrian deaths and crashes, following several fatal accidents in recent years.
