When will Ghana's shambolic parliament grow up?

Welcome to the first episode of Another Perspective.

Kojo Mensah takes a look at the eighth parliament in Ghana's fourth republic.

The parliament, on the night it was inaugurated, broke into a fight over the election of its speaker. Interestingly, to end its first year, the MPs fought, once again, over the government's proposed electronic transactions levy.

Do the politicians really care about Ghanaians? Do the MPs really know their mandate?
