Bear Hilarity: Our Take on Bee-Deviled Bruin (1949)
Video version available on YouTube. Please note that certain sections may not translate well to the audio only format.  In this episode, we dive into 'Bee Devil Bruin,' the 555th Looney Tunes short directed by Chuck Jones, released on May 14, 1949. Joined by S.C. MacPeter, we discuss the comedic antics of the Three Bears, focusing on Junior Bear's mishaps while trying to gather honey. Despite not voicing any of the bears, Mel Blanc is credited, possibly for minor sound effects. Notably, Billy Bletcher, Sam Freberg, and Bea Benederet voice the characters. This short is a precursor to the Roadrunner series with its quick gags.    00:00 Welcome to the Looney Tunes Review 00:42 Introduction to 'Bee Devil Bruin' 01:12 Synopsis and Trivia 01:56 Voice Cast Insights 02:16 Discussion on Mel Blanc's Credit 03:19 Favourite Moments and Gags 07:31 Final Thoughts and Ratings 08:18 Conclusion and Farewell
