Video version available on YouTube. Please note that certain sections may not translate well to the audio only format.  In this episode of our Looney Tunes review series, we dive into the 1949 classic 'Mississippi Hare,' directed by Chuck Jones. Featuring my friend Austin Kelly, we explore the plot where Bugs Bunny's tail is mistaken for cotton, landing him on a riverboat and in hilarious encounters with Colonel Shuffle. We discuss the cartoon's comedic elements, the animation's brilliance, as well as the historical context and controversial aspects. Overall, this review celebrates the short's humour and creativity, while acknowledging the challenging portrayals of the South and African American culture.   00:00 Introduction and Welcome 00:47 Cartoon Overview and Release Information 01:12 Plot Summary and Trivia 03:57 Discussion on Controversial Elements 05:32 Animation and Character Analysis 11:39 Music and Final Thoughts 13:55 Conclusion and Ratings
