A containment alert has sealed four crew members inside the cargo hold aboard the orbital research vessel Horizon Dawn above Gliese 832c. The cargo bay is quite large and has a self-contained vent system, now isolated from the main vessel. Whilst it is mostly an open space filled with various crates and equipment, there is a significant section specifically dedicated to exotic samples. That has basic quarantine systems, but they are on the blink. The ship’s AI reports an unauthorized organism moving through the vents in the cargo hold and has triggered Quarantine Protocols. And the aged systems on the base have failed to recognise that there are people stuck inside.
