Today Mary sits down with one of the first blokes to buy an Are You Bogged Mate? cap, Dion Costigan.
They have been mates online for ages, but on a trip into Mexico (Victoria for those of you abroad) Dion actually spoke at one of Marys AYBM events and from that, she wanted you to hear his story too.
After a stroke that affected the left side of his brain, Dion found out he had more in common with his Blue Heeler than he realised!
Through managing his depression post stroke, Dion has learned to recognise the signs when he is slipping and now knows what he needs to do for himself to pull it up.
For Dion, it really does comes back to the simple things in life.
