LANDING is A&M's second annual conference.
Panel 2 | How do we carve out and sustain independent agendas?
As agents of self-organisation, experimentation and discourse, independent platforms are integral to the art ecosystem. Their work often exists outside of institutional planning and commercial forces, thereby making space for fresh perspectives. We speak with individuals who have advocated for such spaces, and gain insights on the importance of productive criticism, the power of community engagement and the challenges of sustaining one’s practice.
Panelists:
Dominic Zinampan, Managing Editor, Green Papaya Art Projects
Reaksmey Yean, Founder, Silapak Trotchaek Pneik
Ha Dao, Coordinator, Matca
Moderator: Vivyan Yeo, Writer, Art & Market
This panel discussion was broadcast on 23 June 2021 as the second of four panels in the series. More information at artandmarket.net/landing.
