Using stylized brushstrokes, she blends impressionism and realism together to create immersive portraits. Music and art have helped Mariella find calm in herself. Music gave voice to her innermost feelings, and she, in turn, found a way to express herself through a traditional medium – oil paint. After a year of teaching herself the craft, Mariella had her first solo showcase to feature her own artistic style — a blend of hip-hop culture, vibrant colours, and fine art. A new style of art was born.
