Exodus 20:5 (KJV) - "For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."

2. If a Person is Born Again in Christ, Are They Still Affected by Generational Curses?

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Lack of discipleship: Salvation is the starting point. Walking in freedom requires growth in the Word.

Romans 12:2 (NIV) - "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."

4. Is It Necessary or Appropriate for Born-Again Christians to Seek Deliverance for These Curses?

Deliverance is not about earning freedom but enforcing what Christ has already done.
Some Christians may need deliverance prayer to break stubborn strongholds or demonic oppression, not because Jesus’ work was incomplete, but because they have not yet fully appropriated it.
