They outline maintenance-focused workouts, tempo and isometric methods (including the 5-3 rule), recovery strategies, nutrition and hydration, and how they balance intensity with readiness. We also discussed staff and intern development, the creation of a freshman training manual, and use of sports-science tools for testing. The conversation emphasizes process-driven athlete development, team buy-in, and practical steps to sustain strength and power during a playoff run.
