Judge Orders Trump Administration to Return Public Safety Funds
A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to return more than $230 million in Homeland Security and FEMA funding that had been withheld from states with sanctuary policies. The judge ruled the cuts were arbitrary and lacked a legal basis, emphasizing the money supports critical public safety and emergency preparedness programs.
