Dave Specht is the author of "The Family Business Whisperer" & creator of The Family Business Masterclass (www.familybusinessmasterclass.com) with Dennis Jaffe. Mircea Raianu is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Maryland and teaches courses on South Asia, the Indian Ocean world, and the history of global capitalism. He is affiliated with the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets at the Robert H. Smith Business School, & co-organizes the Histories of Global Capitalism Forum (HGCF) in the Department of History. Raianu is a historian of modern South Asia. His primary research & teaching interests are capitalism & economic life. He is currently writing a series of related articles about India’s economy that include topics such as the transition from trade to industry in the context of global financial crises and the intellectual history of Indian capitalism during the interwar period. He has a PhD in History from Harvard University & a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
