Born and raised in Sofia, Anes had always imagined her future abroad. She set her sights on adventures in the USA and Germany, where she participated in work and study abroad programs — dreaming of opening a coffee or pastry shop somewhere abroad.

But fate had a twist. When she arrived in Germany, she met her future husband (who's from Peru), and together, they decided to give Bulgaria a chance. Since then, she has realized her dream of opening a coffee shop. Now, she plays an active part in building Bulgaria's coffee culture and community and aspires to put Bulgaria on the global coffee map.
