
British middle-distance runner Shelayna Oskan-Clarke reached the semi-finals of the 800m at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and later in 2019 claimed the top spot of the podium at the European Indoors in Glasgow despite never making it to international representation until aged 18, and having to work while her competitors trained full-time. She speaks to Lauren Guilfoyle about how her resilience was instrumental in her career success to date.
