- Jewish leaders refused God's offer of salvation on Jesus Christ when they were visited by God himself
- Jesus drove out people buying & selling animals in the Temple & knocked over the tables of money changers
- most people still didn't believe in Jesus
- the praise of others is fickle & short-lived
- the purpose of Jesus' first mission on earth was not to judge people but to show them the way to find salvation & eternal life
- religious leaders try to trap Jesus with questions
- Jesus has provided clothes of righteousness for everyone, but each person must choose to put them on in order to enter the King's Banquet or eternal life
- concentrate on your relationship with Christ now, not on what is to come afterwards
- the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart & to love your neighbor as yourself
- it's not how much we have, but how we use what we have
