More than music, more than an artform, hiphop has risen to the top of the music-genre totem pole. Beyond the songs that penetrate the surface and make the mainstream media, are artists and movements, producers and engineers, dj's and independent record labels, triumphs and tragedies. In order for us to deliver a successful path to follow to the coming generation of young hiphop musicians, we must be certain to impart the seeds of knowledge, so that we can help solidify the CULTURE of hiphop, in order to optimize the impact of the music and business of hiphop.
