Parenting Children with Special Needs; Challenges and Blessings

Like life is rough and so alike is parenting . Parenting special babies suffering from Down’s syndrome can be challenging all the same . But there are moments when challenges blossom into something so beautiful that there is only love . The babies teach you what loving and living is . Every child deserves an equal share in the society.

Lets hear it from our respected Rtd. Brig. Gen. Dr. Lalita Joshi, a senior consultant OBGY, also the founder/president at Down Syndrome Association of Nepal(DSAN) Nepal, her challenges and blessings as a mother as she talks about Aashish, her beloved son. Hosts for the episode are Manita Khadka and Prarthana Subedi. 4th year medical students from Nepal.

Happy listening!
