In November of 1985, 67yr old Dexter Stefonek was driving back from his son's home in Oregon to his home in Wisconsin. During this long journey, Dexter decided to pull off at a rest area in Montana. That ended up being a fateful mistake. Dexter's burned car was found at the Bad Route Rest Area with no sign of Dexter. Four months later, his body was discovered at a landfill 17 miles from the rest area. Since 1985, the case has remained unsolved, but perhaps, that is about to change.
