Beyond the Barside Meets… Brad Jefferies.
U’s fans will be have had a few questions regarding the state of our pitch in recent years. From clay surfaces, to synthetic stitching, to outplaying the pitch- there has been much debate about our playing surface. We were lucky to be joined by U’s Head Groundsperson Brad Jefferies. Brad talks us through the realities of getting the pitch up to scratch and what it takes to make that happen. He also talks about plans moving forward and the historical difficulties of keeping the pitch in top shape.
