In these verses, Paul is full of encouragement for the people of God and the church of Jsus Christ to actively defend their faith by standing firm. With pressure to compromise from outside and inside the churches, and many distractions in our own lives, Paul brings timely advice as we press on for Jesus as hope-filled disciples.
