Psalm 8 is a powerful meditation on the nature of God, the unique position of humanity, and the relationship between the two. It begins and ends by praising God's universal majesty, while in between, it marvels at God's attentive care for humanity and the extraordinary dignity and dominion with which He has endowed them over the created world.
