Nate and I eventually get into the topic I wanted to focus on with him, habitat crossover. The things he looks for when scouting for deer are many of the same things we upland hunters take note of. Brushy edges, concealment, and food sources, are in the same value to the grouse as it is to the whitetail. It's no wonder we cross paths with hunters of other disciplines while pursuing game. This is a good birdcamp conversation and I hope you enjoy it.
