We chat to Western Edge's Nigerian-born actor, spoken word poet and playwright Amarachi Okorom about her upcoming trip to Nigeria to develop a script for her new project. As a critically acclaimed emerging playwright, Amarachi was shortlisted for the 2021 Griffin award, she was also selected for Melbourne Theatre Company's First stage program, Australian Theatre for Young People's National Studio program and Malthouse Theatre's Besen Writer's Group.
We also chat to Nigerian-Australian emerging artist Danny Lanke about his two part, six track debut EP 'Someone's Daughter' which dropped on 29th July 2022.
