On February 08, 2025. Police officers in Albuquerque, New Mexico, encountered a group of people loitering in a parking lot. One of them, later identified as Angelica Baca-Bartlett, became irate with one of the officers, and peppered her with a nonstop barrage of insults and profanities.

Despite the efforts of her male companions to restrain her, Angelica quickly broke loose and assaulted the officer. While Angelica was experiencing an immediate change of heart, one of her companions wasted no time in pursuing a business opportunity.
