Light the lamp, not the rat!!! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, listeners!! This week Raven and Campbell first exchange gifts then recount possibly the best Christmas movie of all time? Together they discuss holiday traditions, character design, and how one should treat a puppet, with reverence and respect, in the 1992 musical classic, The Muppet Christmas Carol. Where to watch: Disney+ (extended version in extras), YouTube, Prime Video, Fandango, Apple TV, Google Play   Classic Rum Balls: - 3 ½ cups wafer cookies (or graham crackers) - 1 ¼ cup pecans or walnuts - 1 cup powdered sugar - 2 tbsp cocoa powder - ½ tsp salt - ⅓ cup dark spiced rum (or ½ cup if you want it a little boozier) - 2 tbsp corn syrup (or honey/maple syrup)   Break up wafer cookies into fine crumbs (either with a food processor or smashing them in a bag). Chop nuts finely and combine with wafer cookies. Add sugar, cocoa powder, and salt and whisk to combine. In a separate bowl, combine rum and corn syrup until combined. Add the wets to to the drys and fold until mixture is moistened evenly. Add any additional rum if there are dry spots. Take a tbsp amount of mixture and roll into a ball and coat in powdered sugar or cocoa powder. Repeat with the rest of the good stuff. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
