Today I am talking with self-produced artist, Rob Walton from the "internet pop" band Electric Skyline. This emerging artist and producer is formulating a creamy, instantly-classic sound that is then topped with his ear-worming vocal melodies right from his home. Now living in Nashville, he takes a Lennon/McCartney style approach to songwriting with his band, even though they collaborate primarily remotely. As an artist myself, we are going to talk about our journeys in learning how to turn songs into final, polished productions fit for online distribution and radio from home.

Boss Pod explores what really goes into creating "a work of art". Host and creator, She Nova, goes live on her Instagram every week to talk with three influential badasses of all artistic fields from musicians and writers, to videographers and designers, to deep dive into how they turned their passions into their livelihoods. Being an artist in music herself, Nova asks the hard questions to reveal the true nature of the process and progress of being an artist. How much blood, time, sweat, tears and devotion does it really take before the finished masterpiece is presented to the world?
