Jim Marrs (1943–2017) was a bestselling author and investigative journalist known for his deep dives into conspiracy theories, UFOs, and government secrecy. He gained national attention with Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy, a key source for Oliver Stone’s film JFK. Marrs went on to write several influential books, including Alien Agenda and Rule by Secrecy, exploring topics like extraterrestrial contact and secret societies. A popular speaker and frequent guest on Coast to Coast AM, he also taught a course on the JFK assassination for 30 years. Though controversial, Marrs became a respected figure in alternative research, remembered for challenging official narratives and inspiring generations of truth-seekers.
