This is a teaser of my upcoming topic on Brandy, Straight Up No Chaser. I have some single associates and friends that always reach out to talk about the type of partner they're looking for so I thought I should do a podcast about this. Like most, when I was a pre teen I use to sit around with my sisters and fantasy about my dream guy. Both as a grown woman I can't understand how women and men in their late 30's, 40's and 50's still are talking about their pre teen dream partner. Just like I ask my friends when they call, why should a millionaire or billionaire come home to you? It's nice to manifest things in your life but if you're not equal to what you have on your list then how can you set high expectations on what your partner must have to date you. Instead of saying a person have to buy you an Hermes handbag or a person must have a perfect body from getting cosmetic surgery. Ask yourself, do you have that amount for that bag in your bank account? Do you have that amount for that person's surgery in your bank account? If the answer is no, then you can't have that high expectations. So look in the mirror at yourself and ask why should someone give you luxe items if you can't give it to yourself.
