Duane Ludwig is a legend in the Muay Thai and MMA world known for his exciting style and brutal knockouts all over the world. After winning the ISKA Muay Thai world title in 2004, Ludwig entered the world of MMA full-time and became a star. Ludwig has shared the cage with stars like BJ Penn, Genki Sudo, Paul Daley, Takanori Gomi, Dan Hardy, and the list goes on. He even holds a knockout with over former UFC Champ Jens Pulver at the time Jens was world champion and ranked #1 pound for pound in the world! You may also remember Duane Ludwig holding the fastest knockout in UFC history at a blazing 6 seconds against Jonathan Goulet.
Ludwig, the Bas Rutten protege became one of the sought-after coaches after his retirement from competition and is now the head coach of former UFC Champion and current contender, TJ Dillashaw. The system he developed, Bang Muay Thai is one of the most in-depth striking systems out there to this day and our host Chris Camozzi got to pick Ludwigs brain on breaking down fights and opponents as well as training tips and learning the “counter eye”.
