This week we welcome Coach Jake Ramos from Genesis Training Academy located in Denver, Colorado. Now you may not have heard the name but that’s how he likes it. Coach Jake is one of the best boxing coaches in the world and coach to many of your favorite boxers and MMA fighters but he doesn’t do a lot of interviews or media so we were honored he accepted our invitation to come on the pod. Jake Ramos has coached Grant Neal, Mohammad Usman, Rose Namajunas, Justin Gaethje, Brandon Girtz, Davarryl Williamson and even our host, Chris Camozzj and many many more over the years. Jake shares what he looks for in people when they walk through the door day 1 of the gym, what it takes to be great, horrible coaching injuries, an awkward encounter with Tyron Woodley on Tattoos and so much more from the world of fight gyms.
