Sara's Bio:
Sara Kercho will graduate with her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in August. She has been interning at UnEarthed Therapy + Yoga and Mindwell Therapy, both in Keller, TX and is looking forward to starting her journey as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the fall. Sara has experience working with teens and adults struggling with a variety of issues from anxiety and self-esteem to complex post-traumatic stress disorder.Sara is a former public high school fine arts dance teacher and drill team director. She takes a holistic approach to teaching students and has presented workshops focused on social emotional learning at both the Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts Summit & Texas Dance Educators Association Convention.
She prides herself on the relationships she has built with her former students and always strives to provide any students with a safe, inclusive environment to explore, connect and create without judgment. Sara strives to show up authentically, create genuine connections, and provide a safe space for those who need it. She currently offers group mental wellness workshops, leadership workshops, and professional development in addition to individual counseling.
